Doesn’t it seem like after Halloween things start swirling into an infinitely busier vortex of activity that does not let up until New Year’s Day?
You just got done with making your house look all spooky, and you’ve taken the skeletons and put them back in the closet, and you’ve taken down all that stuff that is supposed to be spider web, whatever that is, and put that back wherever it goes for eleven months of the year. You’ve went out to buy all that candy on clearance afterward, and you’ve been keeping your kids from eating it all at once ever since. Now there’s figuring out who is hosting Thanksgiving, then there is the cooking and the eating and the hubbub of actually hosting or traveling to and from, the cleanup, and the eating of the left-overs for probably longer than you’re supposed to keep eating Thanksgiving leftovers. Then there’s the gift-buying, the decorating, and more cooking and eating, and, well, pretty much round two of the Thanksgiving experience, except it costs more. By the time you get to New Year’s Eve you likely just want to hunker down at home in front of the TV……
(deep breath)
Does that sound about right? It’s that magical time of year some call “Hallothanksmas” and we’re right in the middle of it right now.
Long story short, you’re busy. We never like to take up any more of your time than we absolutely have to any time of year, but especially not now. Though we are absolutely, unequivocally going to take the time we need to with our clients, because it means we will get them the answers they are looking for and the coverage they will need. It is infinitely important during hectic times like the holidays. There is a reason there are so many insurance claims during this time of year. People are distracted. Things are just overall moving at a faster pace. Those two factors are almost always mutually detrimental.
We’ve got things to do too, but when we’re here in our offices, or when we’re out there meeting with you at your home, farm or place of business, we are insurance agents. It doesn’t matter what the calendar says. So, while we’re not going to skimp on the time and effort we put into your quotes, your claims, or your questions, we promise you we will do everything in our power to make it the most hassle-free experience we can give you.
We are interested in business as usual but in such a way that does not enfringe upon your holiday spirit. We’ll leave it up to the department stores and the mail delivery services, and holiday traffic to give you that experience. Our goal is always to improve upon the insurance policy you currently have, so during this busy time of year, why shouldn’t our goal be to improve upon your holiday spirit as well? There are a lot of things that raise one’s spirits, and it just makes sense that saving money getting better coverage would be among them.
Come give us a try. If you absolutely must wait until after the holidays, then we’ll be waiting on the other side of this swirling vortex of activities we call the holiday season, ready to serve you.
Have a happy Thanksgiving, one and all. We’ll catch you again on this blog, before round two. To those of you that we do serve, all of our gratitude for the opportunity to do so.
